New Wave Property was founded by real estate broker Toya Mack Burton in 2002. Toya has decades of experience in sales and property management, and has assembled a team that meets the highest qualifications in the industry. Every broker and agent at New Wave Property is licensed and in good standing with the Department of Real Estate.

Toya Mack Burton

Toya Mack Burton is a native of southern California. She received her undergraduate degree (BA) from the University of LaVerne, where she majored in (media) Communications with a goal of writing and reporting news for television and radio.

Toya spent 13 of her earlier years with RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company (RJR) as a Training & Development Manager, where she trained new Sales Agents and worked to improve the performance of seasoned Sales Agents. During her tenure with RJR, she successfully completed her graduate studies and earned a Master’s of Business Administration degree (MBA) from the University of Redlands.

In 1989 Toya moved Team Equity L.A. Property & Management, Inc., where she functioned an Office Manager, Chief Financial Officer, and Director of Property Management and was instrumental in the company’s growth.

In 1998 Toya earned her Real Estate Broker’s License and in 2002 divested herself from Team Equity LA and founded New Wave Property. Since 2002, New Wave Property has operated as a full-service real estate office staffed with a team of well trained and aggressive real estate professionals and support staff. New Wave Property specializes in property management, residential sales, and leasing.
